Bio

Born on Earth and heading straight to Hell.

Forged in the summer of 2012, METALSTORM wasted no time in releasing the "Fully Loaded Nightmare" 7" E.P on Call to Arms Music in February 2013,
and quickly saw the first pressing sell out along with a very limited run of skateboards.
The release was swiftly followed up with a string of shows alongside bands including:
PSYCROPTIC, KING PARROT, RUINS, MUNICPAL WASTE, DESECRATOR, TRUTH CORRODED, IN MALICES WAKE, MINDSNARE as well a spot on the first ever Australian OBSCENE EXTREME FESTIVAL.

2014 saw a line-up change with Matt Cleary (ex-Lamort) taking over duty on drums and Tim Anderson (ex-The Abandonment/The Red Shore) taking over the job on Bass. The fresh line-up saw the band continue to expand and challenge themselves musically with the release of "I - Saeculum Obscurum", this time on 12" vinyl. These new songs saw the band expand on their classic thrash sound with a much darker element being added both musically, lyrically and vocally.
The recording was handled by Jason Fuller (Blood Duster) at Goatsound Studios in Melbourne who proved to be instrumental in helping the band stitch together their updated sound.
The release was followed closely by a run of shows with Brazilian Death Metal legends KRISIUN as well as shows with New York Hardcore crossover kings MERAUDER and a hugely successful Japanese tour with MORS PRINCIPIUM EST (Finland) & BEYOND CREATION (Canada).

2015 will see the band release a third E.P which will carry on from where "I - Saeculum Obscurum" left off, furthering the growth of the band both musically and spiritually. This time the recording will be handled by Julian Renzo (Jack the Stripper) at Legion Productions in Melbourne.

2015 is looking to be the band's biggest year yet with more national and international touring plans to co-incide with the new release.
