Brisbane based, Alt Metal trio KRAVE are back and building on the momentum of their critically acclaimed debut EP ‘Self Exposure’. KRAVE showcased their new double sided single ‘Red Flag’ & ‘Take Your Bow’ at The Zoo Brisbane that has EPIC written all over it. KRAVE headlined an amazing SIX band line-up consisting of Duck Egg Blue, Staples, Peruvian Flashback, Street Pieces and Atomic Beau Project.
Side note from our man at the show:
I’m not a writer so I’m not going to review the whole night, but I had to make mention of Krave. In between The Atomic Beau Project and their set, a drink was spilt on to the main power for the stage and they had no audio or lighting to work with. In a true ’The show must go on’ moment Krave found a beat up acoustic guitar in a back office sat at the front of the stage and performed their show by phone light. Krave have never rehearsed much less performed an acoustic set before and were working things out on the fly in between songs, I can’t praise them enough for their efforts. Luckily for me the lights came on after 2 songs so I could get some snaps for you.
