Brisbane alt-rock band Sunbleached dive into 2024 with new single, No Cure For Life, ahead of their appearance at New Bloom Festival in Brisbane this March.
Swimming in sounds of nostalgic shoe-gaze and melancholic emo, No Cure For Life is an exploration of the band’s sound thus far and builds upon elements established on the quartet’s 2023 sophomore EP release, ‘Delicate Places We Hide’. Vocalist Josh Baker comments, “‘No Cure For Life’ was originally written to coincide with ‘Delicate Places We Hide’. The intention behind it was to write a song that was an amalgamation of all the sonic elements found on that EP.”
Sunbleached will head out on the road for their first shows of 2024 in February, accompanying Late November and Giant Palms atop stages in Townsville and Mackay. Following this they will make their very first festival appearance at Brisbane’s New Bloom Festival in March, sharing the stage with heavyweight international alt rock acts Movements, Citizen, Touché Amoré, No Pressure, Softcult and many more.
