It’s Halloween every day over at the Aetherial camp, with the band unveiling a brand new video for their third single – The Grave Empties Itself taken from their sophomore album, Nameless Horrors.
The track is a furious assault which takes the listener on a wild ride past life and death in search of answers. The Grave Empties Itself been described as ”the kind of corpse rotting riffs that want to punch you in the head until you’re smiling in the sweet ecstasy of their unfolding mayhem” Wall of Sound.
The video shot and produced in Melbourne by Aetherial is a take on a classic B Grade Horror Flick getaway scene with treacherous roads, flesh-eating zombies and the mysterious girl in the shadows!
Vocalist Shep Sheppard on the video “We wanted to create a darkwave driving video, like a version of OutRun vs The Day of The Dead type of thing.”
“We have definitely enjoyed making our own videos for this album; what really began as a necessity, has ultimately evolved into an extension of a creative outlet for our music.” States Sheppard on the band’s video exploits.
Nameless Horrors is available from the Aetherial website on CD and in digital format from all good online retailers as well as streaming on Spotify.
The new video for The Grave Empties Itself is out on December 4. Watch the clip here:
