The Progressive Metal rockers known as Age of Emergence are releasing their deepest and hardest hitting work to date with their new EP ‘The All Seeing Eye: Part 1’. Written during the chaos of the pandemic, it touches on the dark themes that plagued that moment in time. The EP will be released independently on April 12th.
The first instalment of the ‘The All Seeing Eye’ saga explores the impact large tech companies have on the individuals identity and how we interact with one another. Apparently leading to less human contact and an inevitable identity crisis epidemic. All while the world around us crumbles due to the destruction of our environment and the unravelling of societies fabric. Meanwhile we hold on to any glimmer of hope that suggests things will get better while also trying to distract ourselves from the fact that we’re currently stuck in a dystopian nightmare.
This is AoE’s first release since parting ways with their former drummer and joining forces with new skin-beater Adam Clayton. It’s also their first post-pandemic release of music since their well received second EP ‘The War Within Ourselves’ dropped back in March 2020. The sound of which has been described as:
“Mastodon, Iron Maiden and even a dash of Nevermore” – Metal-Roos
Age of Emergence will be touring extensively to promote this new EP. Dates to be announced very soon. Keep an eye out!
