Regional Victorian metal outfit ATLVS add another crushing single to their collection with new release “Broken Bonds“, streaming everywhere today.
With an arsenal full of new and upgraded material in collaboration with recording, mix and mastering engineer Scottie Simpson (Alpha Wolf), ATLVS are set for a big year ahead. “Broken Bonds” is the second single for 2022 after the tormented and haunting “Comethazine” dropped in February.
Following similarly heavy themes, “Broken Bonds” tackles toxic environments and is lyrically about growing up in an unhealthy home and recovering from the trauma. The band highlight that “abuse doesn’t always have to be followed. The scars can heal generation to generation. Things can get better and a person doesn’t have to be shaped by the environment they were raised in.”
ATLVS is Nathan Coff (vocalist), Matthew Borthwick (bass/vocals), Nick Clavarino (drummer), Nick Fitzgerald (guitarist) and Steve Ljiljak (guitarist). Since the bands inception, ATLVS have built a loyal following, touring Australia for the first time at the end of 2019, showcasing their brutal sound and winning over the hearts of metal fans across the country. The end of tour brought with it the quintets first headline show, which completely sold out.
