Brisbane indie pop punk outfit Bad Neighbour have announced local supports for their upcoming Millions Album Tour, where they’ll launch their debut record of the same name live across the East Coast through October & November. Tickets on sale now via Destroy All Lines.
Welcoming special guest Darcy Baker to the fold as main support, Bad Neighbour will showcase their latest collection of nostalgic punk rock October 24 at Hamilton Station Hotel in Newcastle joined by Dreamboat, October 25 at Burdekin Hotel in Sydney joined by Great Job!, October 26 at LaLaLa’s in Wollongong, November 2 at Bergy Bandroom in Melbourne with Tiny Red Houses and will wrap things up November 15 with an intimate hometown show at Valley Loft in Brisbane with Garden Eyes and Pornstar Supercar.
The last year has seen Bad Neighbour tease a handful of singles that have since been revealed as the building blocks towards their debut album ‘Millions‘, which was released late last month! Tracks 20,000 knife fights, In The Car, And The Fleas, Heart Pumps Blood and The Middle helped the album clock well over 150,000 Spotify streams before the album released and have established Bad Neighbour as rough-around-the-edges punk, embellished with a distinctly emo flair. The ‘Millions’ album is a testament to the bands evolution as artists and their ability to craft songs that resonate on a personal level.
Weaving through moments of raw unrelenting energy with heartfelt, honest and emotive lyricism, ‘Millions’ wears its heart on its sleeve and showcases a sound well beyond Bad Neighbour’s years. “We’re incredibly excited to share this release with the world, writing this record was very cathartic for us and to have something palpable we can share with people is very special.”
The last 12 months have seen Bad Neighbour find their footing and solidify themselves as ‘ones to watch’ as they joined the Destroy All Lines roster. The quartet have toured Australia supporting shows with Mom Jeans (US) and Microwave (US), Spanish Love Songs (US), Hot Mulligan (US) and Free Throw (US), Badflower (US) and took to the big stage at New Bloom Festival in Brisbane earlier this year.
Don’t miss Bad Neighbour doing what they do best on the ‘Millions’ Album Tour. Tickets on sale now via Destroy All Lines. ‘Millions’ the album is out everywhere now.
