Basinfire is set to bring Spálené Poříčí back to the forefront of the rock and metal scene in 2025. The current line-up now boasts 20 acts, including one significant change.
Metal queen DORO will perform at the festival, replacing the previously announced KK’s Priest, who have canceled their European tour and will no longer appear at Basinfire.
Doro Pesch, a true icon of the metal scene, is celebrating over 40 years in music. Since her breakthrough with Warlock in the 1980s, she has captured the hearts of fans worldwide. As the first woman to ever perform at the prestigious Monsters of Rock festival, her unmistakable voice, charisma, and unyielding energy have made her a living legend.
Alongside DORO, Basinfire 2025 will feature other stellar bands. Thrash metal legends Exodus will bring their trademark aggressive sound and dark melodies, while Swedish pioneers of melodic death metal, Dark Tranquillity, promise an atmospheric performance that will captivate fans of Scandinavian metal.
Other highlights include Cattle Decapitation, masters of brutal death metal, and Norway’s Marduk, whose relentless black metal remains one of the most influential in the genre. Moldovan band Infected Rain, led by the charismatic Lena Scissorhands, will deliver an energetic mix of modern metal, while Austria’s Belphegor will create a chillingly dark atmosphere with their uncompromising black/death metal.
In addition to these headliners and major acts, fans can look forward to even more performances. Arkona and Ensiferum will bring folk influences blended with metal energy, Vader will reaffirm their status as one of the best death metal bands, and Tiamat will mesmerize with their gothic melodies. Thrash will be represented by Sacred Reich, while the thrash/death genres will shine with Legion of the Damned and Schizophrenia. Melancholic yet melodic tones will come courtesy of Finnish band Omnium Gatherum.
The festival also embraces diverse musical styles. D-A-D will charm the audience with their signature hard rock, Corvus Corax will add a unique medieval touch, and Steve ‘n’ Seagulls will deliver unique bluegrass renditions of metal classics. Modern energy will explode with Rise of the Northstar, who blend metalcore with Japanese culture.
