BELETH is an extreme metal band hailing from the east coasts of Australia delivering a dark, heavy, driving punch, with an element of groove, catchy riffs, and ferocious, guttural vocals. Releasing their debut album titled ‘Silent Genesis’ in June 2021 via Wormholedeath Records, BELETH now unshackle a brand new single “Abysmal Mind” showcasing their massive sound and a shred of what is being conjured for their next full length album.
“Abysmal Mind” maintains the brutal groove and savage death metal styles of the past, whilst also incorporating brooding, haunting melodies that send you towards the path of a neanderthal stomping passage of attention capturing riffery and fist pumping reactions.
The new track delves deeply into conversations you have with yourself while looking into the mirror, not liking what you see in the reflection and your reactions to the meat suit we are all in. We can all have our bad days, loathing what we are and the smallest things that can send us down a rabbit hole of emotions. The wanting to get out of this state of being and feeling and the frustrations that come with it.
BELETH are in the midst of recording their follow-up album which is set for release in late 2024. Sebasthian Bentos-Pereira continues on vocals, Chris Long on the stringed instruments and Robin Stone on drums.
