On Saturday April 18, 2020, Brisbane will unite for one huge day and night of live music provided by some of Brisbane’s best rock and metal bands. United for one very important cause; to raise funds for those in need who have been involved or effected by the relentless and devastating bushfires.
Held at the iconic Mansfield Tavern and set across two stages, the line up will include over 20 of our finest.
All proceeds will go directly to Australian Red Cross and the Bushfire Trauma/Mental Health Support gofundme set up by Magda Szubanski and Will Connolly + Oztix will also be donating all booking fees directly to the charities.
Whilst a lot of charities are working tirelessly to help right now, there is one set up to help after the fires have settled. The trauma caused by the fires will sadly be there long after the last fire has burnt out. Magda Szubanski and Will “Eggboy” Connolly, have teamed up with organisations like Beyond Blue to raise money for ongoing mental health support for those affected and we will ensure some of the money raised goes to this very important cause. Brisbane Unites Bushfire Fundraiser will be held at Mansfield Tavern and will include two stages.
Tickets: $30 + booking fee – all the money goes to the charities, including the booking fee. Tickets will also be available at the door for $40 unless tickets sell out via pre sales prior to the event.
Time: Doors 12pm – first band on at 1:10pm – Ends at midnight. Full set times TBA.
