Broken Resistance releases playthrough video of “Of Idols And Illusion”

Broken Resistance

A new generation of metal bands is on the horizon to follow in the footsteps of the big stars. One of those promising young hopes is BROKEN RESISTANCE. Although the term “new” doesn’t quite apply, because the band has been active since 2009.

After the strong debut album “New World” in 2019, the five Hessians make the metal planet boil again with the follow-up “A Step Beyond The Edge“. BROKEN RESISTANCE takes you on a journey through ups and downs that life offers us all. Sometimes angular and sharp and sometimes a bit calmer, the music of the quintet gradually gets into your ear canals in text and sound.

With the playthrough video of “Of Idols And Illusion“, the two guitarists Sven Gürtler & Dennis Schultheis and bassist Tim Knüwe give us another insight into the creative world of the Schwalmstadt-based band.

Superficiality is not BROKEN RESISTANCE’s thing. “The liberation of one’s own spirit from negative influences as well as the belief in oneself and one’s inner strength give the listener the opportunity for personal identification and reflection.” is what the Hessians give their listeners on their way. “Broken Restraint”, that’s what BROKEN RESISTANCE stands for and not without reason. The five down-to-earth musicians form a symbiosis with the fans and feel part of their community.

We Are Resistance! Founded in 2009, it takes a while for the band to develop and follow their true destiny. With “New World” a strong debut album will be released in 2019, which will make the band known beyond the regional borders. In a contest in 2019 you can win a slot at the “Rock Am Stück” festival. The band continues to develop persistently, the combination of merciless heaviness and very melodic parts is taken to a new level. The new album “A Step Beyond The Edge” impressively shows that BROKEN RESISTANCE may be cautious, but still look to the future full of self-confidence without hesitation.
