A highly head bang-able brace to announce your entrance onto the worldwide metal stage, Chariots Overdrive ooze the iconic guitar tone of the legendary NWOBHM as ‘A Taikonautic Alchemist’ takes flight, the classic metal gallop in fine fettle as the band continue their traditional metal onslaught at maximum levels! And the head bang ability remains sky fucking high too, the American metallers pleasing every mosh pit around the world with an intensity that’s full on and very commanding, ‘Sunken Throb’ a two minute instrumental with an air of menace, doom and anxiety as the band allow everyone a breather from the breathless rampage of the album up to this point! The bands self titled song ‘Chariots Overdrive’ immediately returns pounding heavy metal to the fore, and at the fastest pace heard so far too – the searing speed liable to rip your fucking face off with absolutely no remorse as every head banger around the world vigorously rocks their head back and forth!
And returning the unmistakeable guitar tone of the NWOBHM to centre stage, ‘Nomadic Warfare’ maintains the pace and power of the previous song, Chariots Overdrive testing the head bang ability of every listener, fan and follower – so come on readers, keep those heads rocking, it’s the least this album deserves! The most it deserves is your full attention from start to finish, ‘The End Of Antiquity’ a relentless and unforgiving traditional metal onslaught!
