Rising out of the pubs, clubs and dance halls of their native Scotland in 1970, Nazareth became one of the most successful rock bands in the world! Pioneers, they paved the way for the many other great Scottish bands like Simple Minds, Texas, Big Country, Del Amitri and more.
With hits spanning five decades including: ‘Broken Down Angel’, ‘Bad Bad Boy’,
‘Turn On Your Receiver’, ‘My White Bicycle’ plus mega hits, ‘Dream On’,
‘This Flight Tonight’, Hair Of The Dog’ and of course, one of the most iconic ballads ever, the timeless ‘Love Hurts‘
Nazareth have released an incredible 25 studio albums across the span of their career and their influence can be felt all the way to the top of rock music’s food chain, evidenced by both Guns ’N’ Roses and Metallica having covering their songs.
The ultimate road dogs, Nazareth plan on touring until the very end.
In 2024 the band consists of bass player and founding member Pete Agnew, Jimmy Murrison, the longest serving guitarist in Nazareth’s history, Lee Agnew, drummer since Darrel Sweet’s death in 1999 and Carl Sentance vocalist since 2015 after Dan McCafferty retired.
