The lads from Distorta, based in Ballarat (Australia) are preparing to release their second EP titled “Deadman” in follow-up to the “Devil in the Dust” EP released by Wormhole Death Records early in 2024.
The core themes of the “Deadman” EP centre around conflict, death and redemption. Distorta continues to fuse elements of Groove, Death, Power and Thrash Metal into their sound, with choruses you can sing along to combined with the insane growls and screams of lead singer, Dmitry
Keremetskiy. It also has heavy grooving riffs that punch you right in the guts from the get-go.
Distorta’s lineup includes James Bogers and Dom Davey on guitars, Dave Prodanovic on bass, Chris Hanrahan on drums and Dmitry Keremetskiy commanding the stage with his presence and powerful vocals.
‘Deafening Sins’ is the first single from the EP and is accompanied by a music video (available on Youtube) that captured scenes of the band having fun and a few too many beers on a weekend away mixing tracks for this release.
Soon to be available on all major platforms from 7th October 2024, Deadman allows fans to experience the intensity of the band from the comfort of their headphones.
James Bogers, guitarist for Distorta, shared his excitement about their second EP. “We feel we have improved the overall sound and production on the Deadman EP. We have created songs for metal lovers to pump their fists and bang their heads too!”
