Just a couple of weeks after the official re-relase of their debut album, French alternative-rock/modern-metallers from Lyon PERSEIDE just unveiled a new music video illustrating a non-album track called “Protect Our Winters” and featured on the ‘Conscience’ motion picture released on December 9th through YouTube.
Protect Our Winters: Nature is our mother. We have to take care. This song was written with the organization Protect Our Winters, to raise awareness about the frailty of our mountains. The movie “Conscience”, which it is the original soundtrack, is a first step to bring practical solutions. If we don’t act quickly, in a near future we may not enjoy winter as we know it now. Stop running, stop denying. The end is near. We can ride responsibly. Protect our winters.
PERSEIDE were born from four childhood friends who decided to form a rock band in 2001, as they were just teenagers. Ten years later, they were crossing the frontiers to share their music widely.
After two EP released, a signing to OrageRock label, hundreds of gigs across France, Europe and even in the USA, with bands like Soilwork, Betraying The Martyrs, Cancer Bats, We Butter The Bread With Butter, Protest The Hero… The story is still being written today.
In 2018, they decided to go into the studio again to record their debut album. May 2020, “The Only Thing” was released and the band didn’t expect the positive feedback! Comments and reviews are just amazing: old school fans are still present to support the project, and new fans are coming along!
While the promotion is going on, with the crisis situation due to Covid19 and the struggle to play live, they decided to go back again in studio to record new singles for 2021!
PERSEIDE are still there, stronger than ever and ready to take these four eternal teenagers as far as possible…
