Brisbane heavy hitters, Harbor The Code have dropped a brutal bomb of discordant riffage by way of new single, Sirens!
The band recently returned to the scene as a rejuvenated 3 piece with the launch of Phoenix in September.
“Why didn’t they tell me the snakes were lining up? You’re gonna be a star”
Sirens dives into the mind of vocalist George Gana as he reminisces on the times of past conversations had with people of influence. Touching on topics such as greed and corruption, Harbor The Code delivers this performance with honesty and conviction, enabling the listeners to feel the aggression and honesty delivered with every line.
“In the process of staring into my own reflection – I can see him, the snake, slithering through the grass.”
Continuing their transition into a heavier band with Deathcore influences, Harbor The Code experimented with adding a screaming chorus hook that utilised pitch and melody to break up the intense high screaming and guttural growls.
Easily becoming Harbor The Code’s heaviest song, Sirens is just another taste in the bands new sound and direction.
