Italian folk/blacksters DUIR reveal the artwork for their forthcoming album titled ‘T. S. N. R. I. – Impermanenza” due out on 15 January 2022 and release the first single titled “Essere Dio“. Check out the lyric video below.
DUIR was born during spring of 2013, with the aim of proposing a folk-metal influenced by the personal taste of each member. To respect this vision, the band decided to call themselves after the old Celtic word of theoak tree, which was venerated for its longevity and the association with wisdom.
However, since then, the band changed numerous components: a few guitarists, two drummers and dropped one keyboard player, but the core is still composed by three people of the original formation: MK, Thomas Zonato and Giovanni De Francesco who gravitate towards a more black and atmospheric kind of sound than the typical folk one. Hence, the name remained but the songs got darker.
