Australian heavy metal band NIGHT LEGION is proud to announce the addition of guitarist HEIN FREDERICK to the band’s official lineup, ushering in a new three-guitar era as work begins on the band’s third studio album for Massacre records.
Frederick joins NIGHT LEGION following an impressive performance with the band at its most recent live appearance, where his playing and chemistry with the group made an immediate impact.
His addition completes a formidable three-guitar configuration alongside founding guitarist and songwriter Stu Marshall and guitarist Col Higginson. The expanded lineup gives NIGHT LEGION an even broader musical arsenal, allowing the band to further explore layered arrangements, harmonised leads and the kind of powerful multi-guitar attack pioneered by heavy metal giants IRON MAIDEN and HELLOWEEN, while remaining firmly rooted in NIGHT LEGION’s own sound and identity.
The announcement comes as NIGHT LEGION prepares to enter the recording phase of its third studio album for Massacre records, with guitar tracking commencing this month.
With Vo Simpson commanding the lead vocal position, the three-guitar combination of Stu Marshall, Col Higginson and Hein Frederick, Ben Thomas on bass, and Dom Simpson behind the drums, NIGHT LEGION enters the next chapter with its most expansive lineup to date.
