Ocean Sleeper drop new single “Your Love I’ll Never Need”

Ocean Sleeper

Gippsland heavy hitters, Ocean Sleeper are back with new single, Your Love I’ll Never Need, which is out now! Stream it here: ocean-sleeper.lnk.to/YLINN

Vocalist Karl Spiessl says of the song “Lyrically, I wanted to articulate the way that greed is like a disease. That everyone you idolize or look up to isn’t what they portray, everyone you love will let you down. Watching people try to put on the persona as something non authentic in the desire to be seen as what they want but not what they are. Everyone dies and in that moment of being stripped to their core you can see the so-called glory of someone who hates the real themselves so much.” – ‘Bled out for all to see, self loathing glory’

Ocean Sleeper will launch the single THIS Friday, July 1 with legends of emo AMPM at Inferno Nightclub in Traralgon. Tickets available now from here

YLINN is the second track to be released from the bands forthcoming EP and follows the monstrous Forever Sinking which was released in late 2021. The video for the track has now been seen over 50 thousand times!

Ocean Sleeper’s debut Aria charting album ‘Don’t Leave Me This Way’ was released in 2019. It features all things that OS does best. The heavy parts are the heaviest you’ve heard from them while their shared love of pop music has delivered a chorus deserving of an arena!

Forever Sinking sees Ocean Sleeper at their most pensive, with all recording duties taken on by guitarist Ionei Heckenberg and mastered by the ever-talented Jeff Dunne (Chelsea Grin, Motionless In White and Crystal Lake). This saw the band diving into their own vision, translating their experience on their own terms.
