This album background is very heavy and raged-fully from the very start.
We’re talking about Onslaught, so be ready for a load of really groundbreaking thrash, instrumental work. The riffs and progression are brutal and impressive, making you to instant head-banging. Smashing drumming satisfies what you expect in a thrash metal album. The timings are accurate and everything fits almost perfectly. Bassist lines are something to enjoy and listen to carefully to. So, we have in our hands a very well-composed record that sounds like Onslaught but with more aggression and power.
Lyrics and vocals are something on the next level. That special deep crunchy tone of thrash melts perfectly with the instrumental work deploying a lot of smashing power into every single line. The thematic variety and deep musical structure understanding are essential.
All Seeing Eye is my favourite song, so I encourage you to listen to it along with all the songs on the record.
Production is clean and almost perfect. The guitars’ distortion and every single sound on this album is heavy but remains in their place. Thus, reaching great quality and making it easy to enjoy and to rock on!
This record is the whole combination of all the Onslaught work during years and leverages it to another level. It certainly is a must-have for any thrash metal enthusiast!
