Perth metal veterans PATHOGEN return on SATURDAY 4 FEBRUARY 2023 to perform their 2005 classic “BLOODLINE” in its entirety at THE CHARLES HOTEL in NORTH PERTH, with special guests PLAGUE, INIQUITOUS MONOLITH, THE HARVEST TRAIL and KIMURA | Doors Open 6:30pm, tickets at Oztix.
It’s been over 11 years since Pathogen officially ended their 15 year reign of crushing Australian audiences with their west coast brand of melodic death metal.
Formed in 1995, Pathogen would go on to release their debut demo, Tyranny of Hatred (1996), which sold out within the first few months of its release and helped Pathogen establish an underground following. It was their 2nd demo, Nightfall (1998), that made Pathogen one of the biggest local metal acts on the scene, before their critically acclaimed debut album “Bloodline” (2005) launched the band onto the national stage, which was followed up by their final release ”Remnants” 2009.
Pathogen have long been revered as a band that provides an explosive live performance, which saw them support the likes of Children of Bodom, The Black Dahlia Murder, Opeth, Fear Factory, Arch Enemy, Dark Tranquillity, Mayhem, Entombed, Shadows Fall, Dismember, Impaled Nazarene and As I Lay Dying until their split in 2011
Since then, Pathogen have intermittently returned to stage for special one off shows, and festival sets at Slayfest in Perth, continuing to show their music remains a formidable force when the opportunity presents to unleash on the metal lovin’ masses.
On Saturday 4 February 2023, the melodic-death metal quintet reunite once again to perform the band’s classic album ‘Bloodline’ in its entirety at The Charles Hotel in North Perth
