Road Warrior – Power (Album Review)

Road Warrior, a 3 piece metal band hailing from Adelaide (SA), are set to release their first full-length album later this year. If you’re into old school metal then this album is for you.

After a lengthy intro on the first song, Don’t Fight Fate, the album picks up the tempo. Heavy guitar riffs and impressive vocals combined with bruising drumming and bass make this a well-rounded album.

Stand out songs on the album are Tease and Torture, Devil’s in Waiting and Back Alley Tokyo Woman.

Denimal Blake (vocals) explains the album title: “It is a statement of our intent: to inject ‘Power’ back into a heavy metal scene that has been somewhat bereft of it”. I think they have achieved this!

Keep your ears peeled for the first single from the album, being released on the 29th of August.

For fans of Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath and Judas Priest
