With the release of the two full-length albums, “Soil Organic Matter” and “Haven of Lies”, as well as more than 50 gigs in Denmark, Norway, and Germany, WAYWARD DAWN have already made themselves known in the Scandinavian metal scene with their primal death metal. The band has, among other things, played at Aalborg Metal Festival, UHØRT Festival and SPOT Festival, supported bands like Nailed to Obscurity (DE) and Blood Red Throne (NO), and is booked to play Copenhell 2022.
This year, Wayward Dawn will be back with their third album “All-Consuming Void”, set to be released via Emanzipation Productions. The first single to be known from the record is “Cage of Resentment”, a short but hard-hitting death metal track that keeps it simple with themes centering around anger and the difficulties of dealing with this. This will be sure to get your head banging!
Formed in October 2015 in Skanderborg, Denmark, Wayward Dawn plays intense and relentless death metal with a massive sound barrier of double bass pedals, heavy guitars played through classic Marshall amps, and a vocal that goes from abysmal growls to rancid and rotten screams.
