Silverstein – Misery Made Me (Album Review)

Release Date: May 06th 2022 - UNFD

Silverstein - Misery Made Me

Silverstein definitely hasn’t lost their energy in the 22 years or so that they have been dominating the punk scene, nor have they lost their ability to deliver heartfelt emo bangers juxtaposed by face-melting hardcore tracks across a record that keeps you interested from opening track till closing.

Not only has Silverstein maintained the staples that have pleased fans for more than two decades they seem to grow with the world around them. Misery Made me perfectly delivers something that’s both familiar without the negative side effect of it sounding dated.

Silverstein always delivers their tracks on the album in this magically balanced way, every melodic pop-punk element is counterweighted by a bloodthirsty riff or is placed in between two of the heaviest tracks on the album.

Big Fan Of this Record! I think you will be too!

If you like: Punk, Hardcore, or emo – Silverstein is probably a band you’ve already heard. If you haven’t though I strongly recommend it will offer you something

Haters be like:  if you are not a fan of anything that leans into the pop-punk scene from the 2000’s you probably won’t feel at home. Give it a go anyway, you can always skip to the heavy tracks.
