SUN OF NOTHINGSun of Nothing – Greek Post Black Metal Collective Drops New Track “Voidhanger”

Greek post-metal/black-metal collective Sun of Nothing have just dropped the leading single from their forthcoming fourth album “Maze”, which is set to be released on February 16th via Venerate Industries.

Recorded, mixed and mastered by Stelios Efentakis at Ritual studios – Athens, with additional engineering by Greg Konstantaras, “Maze” is the first studio offering from Sun of Nothing since 2011’s third album “The Guilt Of Feeling Alive” and sees the band merging elements of post-metal, black-metal, drone and doom to create a sonic identity that sounds entirely unique and corrosive, like a mix of Wolves in the Throne Room, Khanate and Godflesh.

Formed in Athens in 1999, Sun of Nothing set out to explore the darkest ends of contemporary metal, infused with sludgy vibes and a monolithic approach. Since then, the Greek band have released three critically lauded studio albums and toured with artists such as Paradise Lost, Type O Negative, Cult of Luna and Tombs among others. Realigned once again with Venerate Industries, Sun of Nothing prepare to release their fourth album “Maze”, a record that transpires all the blood, sweat and tears experienced over the last 25 years.
