Today marks the release of Tarja’s brand-new Christmas album “Dark Christmas”. It is the highly anticipated sequel of her 2017 album “From Spirits and Ghosts (Score for a Dark Christmas)” and features haunted interpretations of classic Christmas hits and carols, as well as the brand-new Tarja original song “Dark Christmas”.
Utilizing the sound of a grand orchestra and the playfulness of a children’s choir, the Finnish solo artist once again perfectly blends her classically trained voice with darker gothic influences for a masterful cinematic eerie soundtrack the world’s most beloved Christmas

The full-length feature film, consisting of all 12 music videos, was screened in selected DOLBY ATMOS cinemas ranging from Buenos Aires, Mexico City and Helsinki to Berlin, past week. With it being the first Christmas album ever presented in Dolby Atmos, over 50 locations and several hundred fans attending, it was a grand spectacle for all Tarja Fans and Christmas lovers.
