Texas metalcore outfit Silvercord drops music video for new single ‘Neversun’

Silvercord

Texas-based progressive metalcore outfit SILVERCORD are taking us to another look on their upcoming sophomore EP with their new single ‘Neversun‘ out now on various music streaming platforms via Famined Records. The track comes with an official music video which is now exclusively premiering on Dreambound YouTube channel.

The band describes wanting to create the video for this single something impactful and natural, with no special fx, to put focus on the story and message behind the song. Yet again, the quartet showcases their complex, virtuosic, and experimental compositional talents through ‘Neversun’, combining melodic and harsh vocals into a compelling, masterful track.

Formed in 2016, Silvercord is a 5-piece progressive metalcore group from Dallas, Texas. With influences ranging from Northlane and Architects to heavier acts such as Vildhjarta, the band aims to create their own unique sound to provide fans with a new listening experience. After self-releasing their debut EP “Flora” in 2018, the band has recently signed to Famined Records for their next release, which will raise the bar even higher. The five track sophomore EP “Umbral” was recorded by Carson Slovak and Grant McFarland at Atrium Audio (Erra, August Burns Red) and will release in 2022.
