Off the back of their sold-out capital city tour of Australia, Metal Core heavyweights The Amity Affliction have announced they will hitting the regional parts of Australia for the first time in four years. The world renowned metalcore act will be playing 16 shows throughout Australia with an amazing line up of home-grown talent. Alpha Wolf, Terminal Sleep and Run will join them on all shows. This tour is a rare chance for regional Australia to see some of Australia’s best heavy talent in an intimate venue throughout the country. Tickets are on sale Thursday 2nd November.
The tour follows the release of their eighth studio album “Not Without My Ghosts” which was released in May 2023 and reached #2 on the ARIA Album Charts. It features recent singles “Show Me Your God”, “I See Dead People ft. Louie Knuxx”, “It’s Hell Down Here” and title track “Not Without My Ghosts ft. phem”. The record is nominated for Best Hard Rock / Heavy Metal Album at the 2023 ARIA Awards on November 15.
Over the last nearly 20 years The Amity Affliction has garnered millions of fans who deeply resonate with the band, driving both streams and kudos for the lineup. Four records in a row—2012’s “Chasing Ghosts”; “Let the Ocean Take Me” (2014); “This Could Be Heartbreak” (2016); and “Misery” (2018), debuted at #1 on Australia’s ARIA Charts. In the U.S., “Let The Ocean Take Me” and “This Could Be Heartbreak” both debuted in the top 30 Billboard Top 200, while “Misery” elevated the band to new critical heights, helping the band reach a total stream tally that has surpassed a billion.
