Welsh post-hardcore legends Casey have revealed the details of their third album, the exceptional ‘How to Disappear‘, to be released 12th January via Greyscale Records/Hassle Records. The quintet also share their huge new single and title track, How to Disappear. Pre-order the album and stream the single here.
Casey comment: “How to Disappear seeks to unravel the enduring impact we leave on our loved ones after our time has come to an end. This record explores the enigmatic intersection of existence and grief across the course of 12 songs.
“This album is our most ambitious project to date, and we hope you’ll accept our invitation to be a part of it.”

Australia was graced with a handful of live Casey dates across the East Coast in 2018, just before the band announced their departure from music world that December. Though their foundations lay in the United Kingdom, Casey’s music travelled far and wide and had a profound impact on Australian fans. Melbourne-based Independent alternative record label Greyscale Records are thrilled to represent the quintet on their return, and welcome Casey to the family alongside much loved acts including Alpha Wolf, Make Them Suffer, Paledusk and more.
Casey is Tom Weaver, Liam Torrance, Toby Evans, Adam Smith and Max Nicolai. Casey, at its core, was grounded in the notion that music is a labour of love. Without expectation of success, without desire to attain stardom, just a shared yearning to create music – and when this no longer rang true Casey stayed true to themselves, and stepped away.
When Casey announced they were bringing the band to a close, it felt like a premature demise. Their first two LPs – 2016 ‘Love Is Not Enough’ and 2018’s ‘Where I Go When I Am Sleeping’ – had firmly established the Welsh five-piece as one of the most exciting bands in Britain’s alternative scene.
Now, years later, the band have returned – bigger and better than ever before. Casey don’t just replicate the feelings that inspire them – they embody them.
How to Disappear and Puncture Wounds to Heaven are available and streaming everywhere now. Casey’s New album ‘How to Disappear’ will be available Friday January 12 via Greyscale Records/Hassle Records.
