With the emotional rock ballad “Beyond The Way” AIRSTRIKE prove that they don’t just deliver party sound, but can also venture into very serious waters musically and lyrically. “Beyond The Way” is definitely a hit that even manages to top the goosebump factor of “November Rain”.
The band describes the song: With our second single we enter ballad territory. “Beyond The Way” was written by Julio some time ago. When he played it for us on the piano, we immediately started arranging it. The idea for the track came to him while he was coming to Germany. At that time the war was raging in Syria and after Julio had played a few gigs in refugee camps, based on the suffering he saw there, he lyrically asks some questions that concern a lot of people right now.
