A collision of sounds and epochs merge on First Lynchwood’s EP: Breathe, originally from Colchester UK and formed in Early 2017, band members have been working on their debut EP during the last 2 years and it has finally seen light in 2020.
A junction of DIY sounds and a very solid sonorousness create the basis of an aggressive and updated musical piece.
In a time where there’s no definitive genre to be encased in, Lynchwood manages to go along with that premise taking the listener to different ambiences; sounds from the depths of the 90s converge in shapes of frantic breakdowns and powerful riffs that in moments manage to cross the thin line between Dirtiness and rawness, topping with lead singer’s versatility and melodic transitions.
Within the 4 tracks that compose their EP, the listener certainly can have a peek at what the band really is and a mental image of what could be a live show with them.
A route that will take the public through catchy lyrics, digestible compositions and memorable breakdowns, never leaving aside their Punk-Rock Essence.
For this 2020 the band had assembled the “Breathe” Tour Dates for April-May, however unexpected but very well-known Global-Pandemic Issues have forced not just Lynchwood but roughly any band worldwide to cancel and/or Postpone events, tours and festivals. We’ll be looking forward to the time gigs are back so we can see what these 5 can imprint live along with already amazing work, just relax, wait and “Breathe”.
