Charlotte & The Harlots announce first Australia tour

Charlotte & The Harlots

Celebrating the imminent release of their debut album, Charlotte & The Harlots are heading out on a national tour in June.

Playing 8 dates from Brisbane to Adelaide with a list of notable supports, this is a special run of shows you won’t want to miss. At their best live, Charlotte & The Harlots are notorious for their loud, high energy shows. Melding classic rock and proto-punk energy with 2000s pop sensibilities, this four piece will succeed in winning over even the most reluctant crowds with thick walls of fuzz, indelible melodies, chants, sweat, glitter and hair. Charlotte & The Harlots groundswell year has seen them land shows with Aus acts WAAX, Carla Geneve, Pist Idiots and Frenzal Rhomb, as well as the announcement of their highly anticipated debut album, out 20/5/22.

Making their Queensland and Victoria debut, Charlotte & The Harlots will be playing Fortitude Valley’s O’Skulligans and Gold Coast’s Vinnies Dive Bar on June 9th & 10th before heading down south to play Leadbeater Hotel in Melbourne on June 16th and Low Life Basement Bar in Adelaide on June 18th. Charlotte & The Harlots final leg of tour ends with The Duke of Enmore in Sydney on June 23rd, The Shy Postie in Wollongong on June 24th and home town show at Transit Bar on June 25th. Ready to take their music around the country, Charlotte & The Harlots are gearing up for a busy rest of the year.

Founded in Australia’s Capital, circa 2017, by front woman, guitarist Charlotte Jenkins and drummer Daan Steffens. Charlotte & The Harlots have worked their way to become one of Canberra’s top acts, synonymous with their local scene. Now joined by bassist Jasper-Kemp Myers & lead guitarist Luke Schiffer, Charlotte & The Harlots are notorious for their loud, high energy shows. Here to deliver the Power-Pop/Punk-Rock/Grunge resurgence, Charlotte & The Harlots are the breath of fresh air you needed. The Harlots have supported notable local and interstate bands such as WAAX, Teen Jesus And The Jean Teasers, Yours Truly, Pist Idiots, Bakers Eddy, C.O.F.F.I.N, The Neptune Power Federation, ARSE, Witchskull, The Dead Love, Australian punk hero’s Hard Ons, and upcoming shows with Frenzal Rhomb.
