Australian grindcore project CrisisAct have callously spat out their second single and the title track to their new EP “Artificial Noose”. A song that features none other than ex Damaged / Terrorust vocalist and longtime friend Jamie Ludbrook. After the positive feedback from their first EP “Turn It Off”, the group featuring Joe Haley and Dave Haley of Psycroptic, and Matt Young of King Parrot, have delivered another short, sharp blast of intense extreme metal with “Artificial Noose”.
Matt Young comments: “When we were working on the record, I had always wanted to do something with Jamie. All of us in CrisisAct are massive Damaged fans and love his vocal work, so it was a no brainer to get him involved on a track. We’re happy with the end result and for a bit of fun we thought why not do a video too, we had a blast making it!”
Jamie Ludbrook adds: “I cleaned out the pipes to throw down a vicious twin vocal attack with the CrisisAct boys for some savage grindcore. It was awesome, this song destroys”.
This combination of musicians creates a sound that you can almost imagine before hearing it, and CrisisAct delivers some of the most intense and brutal grindcore to come out of Australia in years.
