Does anything weak come out of Texas? The opening track ‘Gone for Now’ kind of eases you in, to begin with before you get to hear the real anger and precision these guys possess.
And there’s plenty of that. There’s stuff on here that surprisingly teeters on progressive, but my personal fave is actually the last song Picture perfect. Picture Perfect clubs you hard with the opening guitar riff and the dual vocals nail it. If more bands heard this song, there would be a lot more bands using two vocalists. Heckler is another standout too, I already want to drive fast to this one.
I was impressed enough to check out their youtube stuff and they sure look like they put on a hell of a show. I look forward to hearing more from these guys, which I am sure I will.
