Offenbach-based CORBIAN are not only releasing their new EP “Chapter II” in digital form but the quintet also presents the new video “Atlas“. The band sums it up succinctly: “Energetic, epic and melodic. There’s a sing-along factor! It’s a modern, but not smooth metal sound.” The seven new songs from “Chapter II” were recorded in the Kommune 2010 Studios, with Marius Fiebig taking care of the mix and mastering.
There will also be a live event for the release. CORBIAN will play together with PENTARIUM and SAPIENCY on February 12th, 2022 in the Goldene Krone in Darmstadt.
What happens to five musicians who have the urge for expressionism and couldn’t live it out? We used every free minute to find a way to make music. This album embodies a constant striving to get better. At the same time, the album shows solidarity, it has brought us closer together as a band. It expressed our frustration and something wonderful grew out of it. Today, after more than a year, we can proudly present you a work in which we put our heart and soul. “Chapter II” is proof that we don’t burst, but that hard pressure creates diamonds.
