This EP means one word: POWER
Firstly, the singer. His voice has that outrageous unclean growling-like tone of smashing aggressively every single word. It can resemble too many of the best old days Heavy/Trash Metal vocalists.
It is pretty cool.
Secondly, the instrumental work is really very good. Everything is where it’s supposed to be and sound like, is powerful, very distorted, very crispy and very heavy, and sometimes melodious (like the intros).
Maybe it is not the most destructive EP you have ever heard. But give it a chance you will like it. My favourite song was Awakening. That intro really feels so deep to suddenly explode to heavy riffs that blow your mind, along with that powerful low vocals and slowly ending dropping the thing out.
Thirdly, technics. Technically, the mastering of this EP is awesome. You can simply hear the hard work put down on this one in the first minutes of listening.
Well, this EP is great, heavy enough to rock on to the end of the world. I will really like to see more stuff like this from them in future.
