Pandemic – Crooked Mirror

Hailing from Kraków (Poland), Pandemic unleashes their debut offering to the gods of metal, the mighty Crooked Mirror.

From the “Let’s Go “that is furious, but all too brief Gamblers Fortune, Pandemic are definitely on the thrash side of the speed metal fence with blazing solos and razor-like vocals.

It is a true classic eighties-era metal that wears its influences with pride and continues the assault that began with the masters and lyricism that touches on the evils of man and the psyche.

‘’ Exorcism of the Exorcist’’ and ‘’ The Juggernaut’’ are mighty melodic slabs of metal that are pure and hail to the gods. ‘’ Necessary Insanity’’ straddles the line between the Teutonic and the American styles with tons of great solos, dynamics, and the excellent percussive work of Tomasz Łuckoś.

It’s an all-out energetic attack. Even the brief respite that is the intro for the epic ‘’ Destined for the Gutter’’ bristles with energy and some classic guitar work,

Crooked Mirror never stops or lets up with its old school in-your-face barrage of metal. The Polish quartet blaze with the fire of the metal gods, and it’s a mighty debut in tribute to the essence of the original underground that burns brightly in their hearts and assaults the ears!
