PREMIERE: Canberra metallers Wretch unleash new video “Blood In The Water”

Wretch

Today Canbera extreme metal act Wretch unleash a brand new video for the track “Blood In The Water“, premiering exclusively at Metal-Roos. The track comes off their upcoming new album “Survival Of The Rotten” to be released in July, pre-orders for the vinyl are available at: https://www.downtunedrecords.com/12-vinyl/wretch

Wretch was formed in 2010 in Canberra, Australia, through a shared passion for grindcore, death metal, thrash and punk. The band spit out grinding venomous rage, through an unrelenting sonic barrage of blast beats, neck breaking riffs, and outright belligerent vocals.

2022 will see Wretch’s fourth release, SURVIVAL OF THE ROTTEN, on vinyl through Downtuned Records. The previous two albums and EP were self released.

Recorded at Def Wolf Studios in Sydney at the height of the COVID pandemic, SURVIVAL OF THE ROTTEN is Wretch’s most diverse offering yet, exploring new territory with varied influences ranging from sludge and hardcore, and traditional grind. It’s a harsh, unrelenting message of hate delivered with patented Wretch tongue-in-cheek smirk.

Wretch have played all over Australia, undertaking solo tours and several high-profile international supports. Following the release of their 2015 album TIRADES, Wretch toured Europe (playing the legendary Obscene Extreme Fest in Czech Republic was a highlight).
