The Wizar’d – Subterranean Exile (Album Review)

The Wizar’d brings Heavy Metal mayhem to a mystic realm, a Subterranean Exile where guitar solos battle, bass lines cast wicked spells, drums thunder and the vocals cast darkness upon the world! Subterranean Exile was released on April 24th 2020 through Cruz Del Sur Music (international) and Heavy Chains Records (Australia).

The guitars have strongly distorted riffs, which in composition with the menacing baselines create a really intense atmosphere. The slow beats to upbeat tempos changes create a balance between those doom and early heavy metal influences.

The melodic solos are plentiful and the vocals have a haunting quality, all together The Wizar’d create real headbanger moments.

This venture needs no Gamemaster, as Subterranean Exile by The Wizar’d immerse you in the Doomed Arcane Heavy Metal Magick. I rate this album 5 out of 5 roo’s, but instead of roo’s, let’s make it 5 wizards bring darkness upon the world!
