Australian extreme metal heavyweights Zeolite have announced their most punishing and refined release to date, L’Appel Du Vide, set to release on 02/04/25. Following the success of their 2021 debut Proselytism, which reached #4 on the AIR independent charts and solidified their status in the Australian metal scene, Zeolite have pushed their boundaries once more with their sophomore effort.
Bringing their signature blend of unrelenting death metal and deathcore, L’Appel Du Vide delivers ten tracks of visceral sonic assault. Produced by the bands guitarist Patrick Haas and mastered by the acclaimed Lance Prenc, the album showcases a refined compositional approach and guttural intensity, whilst retaining their signature bleak atmosphere. Showcased by tracks like Abyss and Hellion, Zeolite on L’Appel Du Vide have pivoted to examine personal themes such as betrayal, loss, and struggle, serving to poignantly amplify the oppressive nature of their music.
“The vision for L’Appel Du Vide was to refine our sound in a compositional sense while amplifying the intensity of each individual component,” says guitarist Patrick Haas. “This is the most aggressive and thought-provoking music we’ve written, and our best material by a longshot. We’re so proud of what we have created together”
With a reputation for ferocious live performances, the band is gearing up for a full-scale tour in support of L’Appel Du Vide, with dates to be announced soon.
