Brisbane metal act DisKust release bone crushing track ‘Never Have I Ever’

DisKust

Brisbane metal act DisKust have released a brand new bone crushing track titled ‘Never Have I Ever‘ accompanied by a music video. The single embraces all things DisKust and gives listeners a preview of where the last year of writing, recording and touring has taken the band. Far more compelx, heavier and faster than previous releases, Never Have I Ever is the next level that has now been set as the standard.

The band comments: Kiel: “For me this is our most powerful and whole release to date, everything is switched up to 11 from riffs, production, lyrics – everything. We have come a long way as a band in the last 12-18 months and this single encumbers everything we are now and what is to come.”

Lance: “The song means to me a new heavier stronger version of DisKust. It leaves the past behind us and showcases how big our dicks are.”

Jayce: “It’s heavy, fast and filthy – breakdown of the year. Having had a strong hand in writing NHIE, im very proud of how it’s turned out.”

Metalcore melody, nu-metal vibes with deathcore breakdowns all wrapped up in masks and in your face ath front row. This is what you get with Brisbane band DisKust.

Diskust pride themselves on incorporating a sharp musical performance as well as a mesmerising live show with masks, costumes, walls of death, circle pits and plenty of crowd interaction, which has been a trademark that follows the band regardless of location.

Diskust have shared the stage with such bands as Thy Art Is Murder, Unearth, Alpha Wolf, King Parrot, Revocation, Psycroptic and Clowns to name a few. In January 2022, the band released an EP entitled ‘A Dark Place’ which contained a combination of songs the band had featured in their live set as well as new material.

Diskust have earned and cemented their place as a regular headline act in demand and are an extremely dedicated and hard-working band with solid plans to extend their spot in Australia’s heavy music scene.
