German based dark metal act Chris Maragoth has released a new video for the track “Tales of Loss and Tragedy“, the last of the three songs from his latest EP “Tales” which was released November 2021.
“Tales” is a musical short story collection containing 3 tracks that are intertwined with each other built round a self-contained story largely based on personal experiences. Previous track “Tales of a Girl” is about being in love with a specific person that does not feel the same way and, as a result, the struggle to finally letting go or to keep on trying. Nadine Hope, who lent her voice to a track on last year’s EP “Lost and Separated”, maintains the vocals again.
Chris Maragoth is a musician and a same-titled musical project based out of Germany. After several other projects, Chris Maragoth was founded in February 2017 to pursue his own musical endeavors. Being a guitarist primarily, Chris writes, arranges and records instrumental and vocal parts on his own but occasionally collaborates with other musicians, friends and former band mates.
The mostly dark and melancholic musical style is a fluent transition between several genres of rock and metal music, but can be mostly described as modern rock and melodic metal.
