Dirty Rats – End Of Tears (Album Review)

Release Date: December 13th 2019 - Independent

Dirty Rats - End Of Tears

Hard Rock and groove riffs make for perfect driving tunes and the members of Dirty Rats have hit the nail on the head with their album End Of Tears.

Nice stylised lyrics, sung with passion and heart setting a tone of early 90s hard rock layered over sensational rock low gain but high strung guitars. Slick slides and the evident sustain of the harmonic nature with absolutely fantastic solos.

The work that has gone into the tracks has not gone unnoticed. Nearly a punk vibe to the songs, these guys have blended a nice mixture of hard rock and punk with melody.

Mid paced but hard-hitting drums fitting perfectly in this album. The drummer carries the pace and lifts the songs to a whole new level of sensational power.

Not over or underdone, it definitely defines this genre that they have so fantastically captured in its entirety.

It’s always good to come across a band that stays true to the sound of hard rock, sometimes simple and effective is better than all the guitar noodling in today’s music scene. All it takes is a love for the music and an era and to really put you into perspective. The hard rock days are not long gone by all means and it’s bands like The Dirty Rats that prove that once more these bands with heart and integrity can still produce some of the best authentic albums.

Dirty Rats have captured something in this album that takes you on a wild journey that has taken decades to achieve in the industry. I enjoyed this album incredibly and will definitely be giving it more of a play long after this review. Well done boys, making the music world a bit more real again.
