As promised, Horror Dance Squad has launched into the new year with their explosive single “Taste the Doom”, the first release from their forthcoming album All I See Is Black (May 2024). The single is accompanied by an equally aggressive music video truly capturing the flavour of the song.
A year and a half since the band’s last release, this is a moment the bands and the fans have eagerly awaiting. “We have been working our asses off on this album for a long time and are so excited to finally get this first track out there to our squad and the world. This is the start of an exciting era for us, and we’ve got a lot of big things coming your way,” remarks singer Karl Mesipuu.
“Taste the Doom is one of the darkest songs from the album,” comments singer Ian Karell. “It speaks to our tendency to try to cover up deep issues with quick fixes while numbing ourselves to the reality we live both inside and outside ourselves. Far too often, instead of facing our problems, we try to escape from them through a whole range of addictions, potential leading to serious consequences.”
Horror Dance Squad has been blasting stages throughout the Baltics and beyond since 2014, unapologetically blending metalcore and punk with vibrant electronics and delivering it to our audiences with unforgettable ferocity. Hailing from Tallinn, Estonia, we have had the enormous pleasure of sharing the stage with a multitude of international heavy hitters on our local turf as well as at international festivals such as Wacken Open Air (2016), Edge Nordic (2016), and Impericon Festival (2023).
