Melbourne alternative rock group To Octavia unveil their third EP, ‘Wonderland‘, featuring two new and unheard tracks, including the soaring Hopeless Romantic. The EP is streaming everywhere now, and available on vinyl paired with 2021 EP, ‘Somewhere In A World, Not Of The Dream’. Renowned for their signature infusion of modern rock with synth driven pop-punk sensibility, To Octavia share their latest batch of high energy melodic alt rock on ‘Wonderland’, a collection of stories exploring human connection and interaction, and expressions of defiant authenticity. Razor sharp riffs, vibrant synth arrangements and upbeat rhythm sections create an immersive sonic tapestry for vocalist Merry Kirk-Holmes’ infectious melodies across the EP, produced, mixed and mastered by Chris Lalic (Windwaker, The Last Martyr) with additional engineering by Chris Blancato (Northlane). This year the band has seen play on Rage, MTV Upload, Channel 7 AFL and on multiple triple j programs as well as an add to Unearthed rotation and more. They also sold out their June single launch show at Melbourne’s Yah Yah’s. The last couple of years have been a whirlwind for To Octavia, who have added a multitude of milestones to their belt including set at UNIFY Forever, BIGSOUND 2022, their first national headline tour – which collected countless glowing reviews – and so much more. The group rounded out last year with Ibanez endorsements for guitarists Justin Keurntjes and Molly Congreve and caught the attention of SEGA who reached out to Kirk-Holmes to write lyrics and perform the main theme for Sonic Frontiers.To Octavia’s impressive repertoire has been featured extensively on triple j, Unearthed, community radio and media worldwide, including Alternative Press.
